West Coast goes to Germany (News)

With Ros and Gabi being a part of the Canadian Team, and Lance judging the Protection phase, several club members planned to make the trip too! We had a wonderful time and enjoyed fine German hospitality throughout our tour after the worlds. Here is a brief overview:

Congratulations to our West Coast Club contingent, Lance Collins -Judge phase C, Rosalyn Jamieson and Gabi Hoffman, 2 of the 5 competitors that made up Team Canada. Gabi had Canadas' strongest showing this year, nabbing 14th place in the world! All those rainy Tuesday nights paid off. Rosalyn finished with an overall Good rating and had an SG score in tracking. Very respectable milestones for ones first time at the World Championships! Ralph, Darin and Darryl had really nice performances as well. For a full review of all the scores, please visit www.gsscc.ca. It was an eventful time, with some highs and some lows but lots of laughs and lots of fun! Many members of our club were in attendance at this biggest World Championship and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We travelled around Germany after the Championship and visited some great clubs and met lots of nice people and got some really good training in! Hopefully we will post some photos soon!
